The Friendly Communications Committee is charged with developing and maintaining a variety of means of communication for the well-being of the meeting. This includes, but is not limited to the monthly newsletter, Friendly Notes, weekly bulletins, the FMA website and a variety of mailing lists. We are also responsible for a phone tree to keep friends without computer access informed of Meeting activities.
The objective of the Communications Committee is to serve FMA members, attenders, and committees by providing a one-stop service to quickly communicate items of interest to the meeting community via our monthly newsletter Friendly Notes, website, e-mail, and phone tree. The committee is charged to actively solicit news and relevant information from business meeting and committee clerks on an ongoing basis, to publish this information, and to identify out-of-date information and request updates and/or purges.
